Drop the drawing.

Skip the meeting. Drag a PDF, photo, or sketch. The bot reads it. Asks the gaps. Quotes you back in chat.

Architects already drew it. We read it.

A
Building type and structure
Single-family home, plaza, MDU, industrial. Number of storeys. Total gross floor area. The bot infers project class from the title block and floor count.
B
Unit and room counts
For MDU drawings, every unit is counted off the floor plan. For commercial, every room or workstation that needs a drop.
C
Dimensions and runs
Wall lengths, riser heights, distances between MDF and IDF closets. Drives metres of cable in the cost calculation.
D
MDF and IDF locations
Communications rooms on the legend get tagged. If a drawing shows none, the bot asks where they should go.
E
Drop and outlet positions
Symbols for data ports, wall plates, and ceiling drops are counted. The bot lists what it found and asks you to confirm before quoting.
F
What we cannot tell from the page
Aerial vs buried entry, target completion date, occupied vs greenfield. Asked in chat as the gaps the drawing cannot answer.

That's 28 ONTs across 4 storeys, MDF on ground floor, two IDF closets shown. Confirm?
CUSTOMER / 09:16
Yes, all correct. We will need a third IDF on storey 3 actually, the previous architect missed it.
BOQ / 09:16
Logged. Three IDFs total. Three clarifications the drawing cannot answer:

1. Aerial drop from the pole or buried entry to the building?
CUSTOMER / 09:17
Aerial. Pole is on the east side of the parking lot.
BOQ / 09:17
2. GPON (one shared fibre per riser, split per unit) or active Ethernet (dedicated fibre per unit)?
CUSTOMER / 09:17
GPON is fine. Standard residential build.
BOQ / 09:17
3. Construction stage and completion date? Greenfield, occupied retrofit, or vacant retrofit?
CUSTOMER / 09:18
Vacant retrofit. Tenants moving in August 1.
BOQ / 09:18 / RANGE
28 unit MDU retrofit, vacant, 4 storeys, ~22,000 sqft, 3 IDFs plus ground floor MDF, GPON, aerial entry, August 1 target. Here's where this lands:
$15,000 to $22,000 CAD
Mid point: $18,500 / Calibration v.2026.5 / Site survey locks the final number.

This is in Brad's review band. I've sent him the file, the extracted data, and your three answers on WhatsApp. He'll confirm within 4 hours during business days.

Want me to also book a tentative survey slot for this week, in case Brad signs off?
